Open Courses:
Vehicle Defensive Tactics:
Force on Force
THE PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This down and dirty eight-hour course will immerse the student in how to use a vehicle to your advantage in a potential engagement, be it defensive or deliberate, on duty or off, by yourself or with your team. You will learn how to engage with both a handgun and long rifle, from inside and outside of a vehicle, and how to properly use a vehicle as cover and concealment. Various methods of handgun carry & presentation will be covered. You'll learn how to operate by yourself and with a team. We'll show you how to draw your handgun, or employ a rifle, and exit the vehicle quickly and safely both as a driver and as a passenger. You will shoot, move, and communicate with a team inside and outside the vehicle. Exercises will include operator rescue and T.S.C.’s urban meltdown. This interactive class will call on the students to solve multi-dimensional problems, which can occur, in vehicular related confrontations. This is not a driving class, nor the ordinary live fire class. This is the force on force version were speed and tactics count. Students should have a solid base of firearms skills concerning vehicle tactics. Your attendance in this class is subject to approval based on your training history, which must be forwarded to T.S.C. Inc along with registration form.
